The Chair welcomed those present and introductions were made by Members of the Sub-Committee, officers, representatives of the Responsible Authorities and the respondent's representatives.

The procedure for the hearing was outlined.

Decision

That, in accordance with Section 100A of the Local Government Act 1972, as amended, the press and public be excluded from the meeting during consideration of the following item of business on the grounds that it involved the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraph 12 of Part 4 of Schedule 12A to the Act.

The respondent's representative and the premises licence holder were given the opportunity to address the Committee.

Representatives of the Responsible Authorities and the respondent's representatives presented their statements in respective of their positions.

Members of the Committee were afforded the opportunity to ask questions of all parties.

Following questions, all parties withdrew from the Chamber to enable Committee Members to deliberate.

Upon re-commencement, the Chair advised that the Committee had considered the application and had resolved to defer the review for a period of four months.
