The minutes of the previous meeting were confirmed as an accurate record.

In doing so, the Children and Young People Finance Team would liaise with Coleg Gwent to identify ways of promoting the Monmouthshire Farm School Endowment Trust with a view to encouraging more students to apply for funding via the Trust.

We excluded the press and public from the meeting during consideration of the following item of business in accordance with Section 100A of the Local Government Act 1972, as amended, on the grounds that it involved the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraphs 12 and 14 of Part 4 of Schedule 12A to the Act.

We considered seven applications received against the Trust Fund, presented on behalf of the Chief Officer for Children and Young People.

The Trust resolved that:

(i)            awards be made to the seven applicants, subject to appropriate receipts and evidence being received.

(ii)          the Finance and Support Services Manager would liaise with Monmouthshire County Council’s Communications Team with a view to promoting the Monmouthshire Farm School Endowment Trust via its Social Media platforms.
