Purpose:

 

To seek authorisation to proceed with the purchase of a 1.5-acre strip of land on the Llanthony Valley Road at Neuadd Straight to enable the Council to secure long-term access for residents and businesses. 

 

To delegate authority to exchange and complete to the Chief Officer for Resources, in liaison with the Cabinet Member for Resources.

Decision:

That Cabinet approves the acquisition of the land to secure long-term access for residents and businesses in the Llanthony Valley over the length of the slip zone at Neuadd Straight.

 

That Cabinet approve the delegation of responsibility to the Chief Officer for Resources to finalise exchange and completion, on terms as captured within this report.
