Purpose: To provide Cabinet with the opportunity to re-consider the decision taken by Cabinet on September 11th concerning the proposed changes to distance eligibility criteria within the proposed Home to School Transport Policy for 2025-26. This follows the call-in of the decision and the subsequent recommendation of the People Scrutiny Committee to refer the matter back to Cabinet.

That Cabinet reaffirms its decision taken on 11th September to approve the distance eligibility criteria in the Home to School Transport Policy considering the comments made by the People Scrutiny Committee on 19th September.

That the points highlighted by the People Scrutiny Committee are used to inform the way in which future consultation exercises are carried out.
