Resolved that the following grants be awarded as per the schedule of applications.

St Mary’s Church, Tregaer, requested £3,500 for the Re-pointing of external walls of the Church to prevent further water ingress and repairs to the ceiling to prevent further deterioration.

Recommendation: £1,500 awarded to assist in the general upkeep of this historic church.

St Mary’s Church Llanvair Discoed requested £1,000 for urgent and essential repairs to the Church roof.

Recommendation: £1,000 awarded to assist in the replacement of the church roof.

St Mary's Caldicot Ladies Guild requested £800 for the purchase of a Laptop and ancillary equipment for Guild meetings and for use by speakers in their presentations to the guild.

Recommendation: £800 awarded to assist in the purchase a laptop and associated ancillary equipment for this community group.

Tintern Festivals Association requested £1,000 for required to purchase a secure storage shed for the purpose of safely storing the assets of the association

Recommendation: £1,000 awarded to assist in the provision of safe and secure storage for the community’s assets.
